Dr. Howard F. Sugden was Pastor of South Baptist Church from 1953 through his retirement December 31, 1989. He went to be with his Lord forever on October 14, 1993. The sermons below are from Dr. Sugden's series on the Book of Ruth, taken from the morning services in the late 1970's.
These sermons are from a study on God's Cities of Refuge done in the Wednesday evening Bible studies in the fall of 1985. There is some confusion on the tapes about the sermon names, and the tapes themselves were marked numerically, without specific titles. There are seven messages, an introduction and a discussion of each of the six cities.
